One day a lonely designer sat whiling away his day in the West End Offices of The Black Arts Co. His name was Shane Holley. He took the Design Cues that he had developed for a new US TV Campaign for the iconic Dirt Devil Brand and set about creating packaging that would compliment the new look.

His ideas were rejected out of hand, and after all he hadn’t been asked for it in the first place, so they were consigned to the “reject cupboard”. Several years later his “rejected” designs emerged in the UK Retailer “Homebase” emblazoned on the Dirt Devil Packaging and further research revealed that a New York Design Award had been claimed by someone he had never heard of and remains on their website to this day.
