Why, what & how?
'The Black Arts' was the original term for typography in France (Arte noir) and during the 19th Century theatres around the world used the term for parts of the performance, including the famous ‘Indian rope trick’, that required the stage to be in darkness.
The Black Panthers in the US in the 1960s gave birth to The Black Arts Movement, which was designed to convince white America that black people could sing, dance, write books and make films. Really?
President Donald Trump took the idea of the Dark Arts, or the Black Arts, to the extreme with fake news, which had previously been the domain of PR companies and adverting agencies.
The Black Arts Company (born in February 2011) is now split into two separate companies. The first Tango Bravo Alpha is devoted to Research, Planning and Creative Origination whilst the second, The Black Arts Film Company produces Visual Assets from 2D, 3D & CGI to full-blown Film Production as well as Live Events.
Throughout the entire process, we are forbidden to even think, let alone mention, the C-word, ‘compromise’ (sorry) when it comes to the idea, its production quality and most importantly it's brand and sales effectiveness.
