The Electric Guitar.
In the era that followed the second-world war a social revolution took place, demanded and led by the world’s youth, in the Arts, fashion, and above all music, and at the vanguard of dramatic political, ethical, and cultural changes, all symbolised by one single icon.
The Electric Guitar.
Recently produced by The Black Arts Co. still embargoed for confidentiality reasons, the film ‘The Guitar that Started it All’ highlights one of the most celebrated disciples and godfather of Electric Blues, songwriter and showman from Linden, Texas…Aaron T-Bone Walker.
Lauded by many of the classic and more widely known Blues heroes such as BB King, Chuck Berry, Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton, T-Bone is credited as playing a major part in their love of, and desire to play, the electric guitar.
The historical importance of the stunning 1949 Gibson ES-5, owned and used by T-Bone over the course of two decades, has confirmed its position as “the guitar that started it all”
The respect and love this guitar continues to evoke today is reflected in the interview with the highly renowned blues guitarist, Little Barrie.
These are truly iconic legacies.
