A discussion on Mental Health in Football
In October 2017, on World Mental Health Day to be precise, the Black Arts organised a Conference on ‘Mental Health in Football’ for the Players Union, The PFA.
This began a campaign, now into its fourth year, recognising and promoting mental well-being amongst a community that despite an often ill-informed public perception suffers dramatically from the insecurity, stress and ephemeral nature that is the life of a professional footballer.
