The day after the Graham Norton show the charity received a call from the NHS asking to use the film and collateral the Charity had produced.
The Official launch took place at the Natural History Museum with Colin Firth, David Walliams and Lewis Hamilton joining a host of celebrities to start London Collection: Male. The event included the launch of “Love the Glove” and the early diagnosis of Prostate Cancer. The promotional film again featured on Graham Norton and the Campaign trended on Twitter reaching nearly 20 million people in the UK and many more across the World.
This is just the start of a Campaign that has the most extraordinary plans stretching well into 2017.
“One for the Boys” aims to increase awareness of all forms of male cancer. Initiated by Sofia Davis after a personal tragedy it is chaired by Samuel L Jackson and supported by leading celebrities across the world.
The campaign was “soft launched” in June 2013 on BBC’s “The Graham Norton Show” and featured on ITV’s “This Morning” for a week in November. The “Silent Movie” was also shown on Channel 4 News and subsequently for three months in Cinemas across the UK thanks to Digital Cinema Media.
